Empowerment Matters have been delivering training on Advocacy, the Mental Capacity Act (2005) and Mental Health Act (1983) for several years with particular experience in the advocacy sector.   We  also deliver training on the Care Act (2014) and its practical application.

Our training can be tailored to the particular sector you work in and will enable participants to understand and apply the day to day working experience of Acts and relevant local policies and procedures within your day to day work.

We are a not-for-profit organisation and aim to keep our price for training as low as we can. Please contact us for a quote.

We are also able to provide training/awareness raising workshops for family and friends of people affected by the Mental Capacity Act to assist you to understand and know what you and your family member’s rights are and how to apply this on a day to day basis.  The Mental Capacity is a vital and empowering piece of legislation and can be a valuable tool for you to use in order to plan your own care and support for the future.
